Shimla - Manali - Delhi

Tour Overview

Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts. Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Day 1: Arrival Shimla

Early Morning you will arrive at Shimla Bus Stand, after traditional Welcome’s  our representative would assist you and check in at Hotel.

Shimla, The `summer capital' of British India sprawls along a crescent-shaped ridge at an altitude of over 2100m in southern Himachal Pradesh. This was the most important hill station in India before Independence. Shimla was once part of the Nepalese kingdom and called Shyamala (another name for goddess Kali). The British ‘discovered’ it in 1819. The famous main street, The Mall, still runs along the crest of the ridge and is lined with stately English-looking houses. Christ Church, Gorton Castle and the fortress-like former Viceroyal Lodge reinforce the English flavour.

Afternoon after rest we will leave to visit Shimla tour, including is Situated on the Ridge is Christ Church, which is the second oldest church in Northern India. It has a very majestic appearance and inside there are stained glass windows which represent faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience and humility and Jakhu Temple dedicated to the monkey god Hanuman. It's located near the highest point of the ridge and offers fine views of the town, surrounding valley and snow-capped peaks. Other scenic spots nearby include the 67m high Chadwick Falls, the picnic spot of Prospect Hill, Kufri - KUFRI (16 km) :  At 2501m, this is famous for its wide views and ski slopes. An enjoyable walk leads up to the Mahasu Peak.  At Kufri, Himachal Tourism runs the Cafe Lalit and Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - The Mall & The Ridge.

Day 2: Shimla - Manali (Drive)

Morning post breakfast at hotel and proceed to another hill station” Manali”  Manali is a magnet, attracting many tourists from all over the world The landscape here is breath taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas river with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards.

Day 3: Manali Full day Excursion

Attractions: Kothi,Gulaba Fall,Marhi,Rohtang Pass,Solang Valley.

Morning Post Breakfast and leave for excursion to Rohtang. We explore the beauty of Kothi, Gulaba Fall, Marhi, Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley. 

Rohtang Pass: Owing to its picturesque surroundings, this pass serves as an ideal picnic spot for tourists and people from nearby areas. Surrounded by soaring snow-capped mountains, this pass is about 51 km away from Manali and remains remains open June to October; the rest of the year, it remains closed due to heavy snowfall.

Situated at a height of 3978 m above sea level, it is considered as one of the highest motorable roads in the world. This glacial paradise is frequented by hordes of travellers from across the globe every year. If you are an adventure seeker, then you can indulge in different snow activities, such as paragliding, skiing and mountain biking over here. Otherwise, you can choose to enjoy the stunning views of the snow-clad peaks, glaciers and scenic vistas of this pass

Day 4: Manali Half day City Tour and Departure

Attractions: Hadimba Devi Temple,Manu Temple,Vashisht Village,Tibetan Monastery

Morning post breakfast at Hotel and till Noon check out form the hotel, as Volvo Bus will leave at evening so till that you will visit Manali Local Sightseeing including Afternoon visit “Hadimba Devi Temple”Manu Temple” & “Tibetan Monastery and “Vashisht Village”

After that evening according to your bus time drop you at Bus stand to board the Volvo Bus to your next Journey.
