We begin in the modern metropolis of Bangalore, at the cutting edge of India’s technology boom, before heading west to Mysore, one of the most attractive old cities in the country. We’ll marvel at the opulence of the Maharaja’s Palace, a highlight of an enjoyable day’s sightseeing.

From here it’s up into the verdant heights of the Western Ghats, taking in the national parks of Nagarhole and adjoining Bandipur and Mudumalai – which together form the largest protected wildlife area in southern India. On a series of game drives we’ll seek out wild elephants, tigers, sloth bears and a variety of deer and primate species.

From Bandipur, we will spend a day walking and sightseeing in the picturesque hill station of Ooty – with a ride on the so-called ‘toy train’ through the hills – before crossing the state-line on our way to Munnar in Kerala. Next we will visit breathtakingly beautiful wildlife sanctuaries at Eravikulam.

 We finish our tour in the romantic old spice town of Cochin, a trading post on the Arabian sea since Roman times.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Chennai

Arrive at Chennai International airport. After traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome), our representative would assist you at the airport and Later transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Chennai - Bangalore (Train at 17:30 / 22:09 hrs)

Today after breakfast we checkout from the hotel and set out for the Chennai sightseeing tour. We start by visiting the Santhome Chatedral, which is a representative of the Portuguese culture of Chennai. It exhibits amazing Neo-Gothic architectural style and is an abode of peace and serenity.

We also visit the Fort St. George located at the shores of the Bay of Bengal. This fort was built by the British East India company in 1640 AD and is believed to be the first British construction in India. The Government Museum is one of oldest museums of the country, treasuring ancient Hindu sculptures, Bronze statues and other rare relics and paintings.

After visit, transfer to Chennai railway station to board the fastest train to Bangalore.

On arrival in Bangalore railway station, transfer to the hotel.

Day 3: Bangalore Sightseeing

Begin your day with The Bangalore Palace, built way back in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar, the Bangalore Palace is inspired by the Windsor Castle. The Bull or Nadi Temple, among the oldest temples in the city, this is dedicated to Nandi, the wagon of Lord Shiva and ISKCON - Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra Mandir that attracts devotees and patrons from different parts of the world, especially those seeking spiritual learning.

Afternoon visit to Nrityagram Dance Village just 35 from Bangalore, the award-winning Nrityagram Dance Village makes for a good day trip. The village offers regular dancing demonstrations, offering you a taste of Indian culture.

Day 4: Bangalore - Mysore (approx. 150km / 3.5 hour drive)

Today, we drive to Mysore (Distance: 150km), It's used to be the capital city of Kingdom of Mysore and now it is the 3rd largest city of Indian state Karnataka.

On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Later we drive to Srirangapatna (Distance: 25km approx.), It was the capital of Tipu Sultan and it is said that both Tippu Sultan and his father Hyder Ali made generous endowments to the Ranganathaswamy temple. This enormous temple has fort like walls and it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Ranganatha.

Later we drive back to Mysore and visit Mysore Palace & Chamundi Hill.

Day 5: Mysore - Bandipur (approx. 87km / 2 hour drive)

Today after breakfast drive towards Bandipur National Park (Distance: 130km). Bandipur National Park is a tiger reserve under project tiger and it was set up in 1974. The park is situated between where the Deccan Plateau meets the Western Ghats.

On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Afternoon we proceed for the Jungle safari into the park. Here we get a chance to witness different varieties of flora and fauna, after the safari we return back to the hotel and relax.​

Day 6: Bandipur - Ooty (approx. 55 kms / 2 hour drive)

This day we drive from Bandipur National Park to the Nilgiri Hills of Ooty (Distance: 55km). A fabulous hill station used to be popular summer and weekend getaway for the Britishers during the colonial days. It is situated at an altitude of 2240m above sea level.

Afternoon we reach there and check-in to hotel, rest of the day is free for us to relax at the hotel.​

Day 7: Ooty Sightseeing

Early morning (packed breakfast), we take a short toy train journey to Coimbatore.

After the ride, we drive back to Ooty and then we proceed for the sightseeing tour of this beautiful hill station.

We visit Botanical gardens, which shows the explicit collections of flowering trees and shrubs. We visit Rose garden and Doddabetta peak, which is a view point from where the whole of Ooty can be seen.

Later, we visit  Wax museum, it's also known as ‘melody world’.

Optional activiti: A boat ride at Ooty Lake.

Day 8: Ooty - Munnar (approx. 250km / 6 hour drive)

Today we drive through the hills to Munnar (Distance: 250km), it's a beautiful hill station situated in the Western Ghats range of mountains at an altitude of 1600m above sea level. Munnar was once the summer resort of British Government in South India and it is popular for its vast tea plantations.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Rest of the day is free to enjoy the beauty of the Munnar.

Day 9: Munnar - Cochin (approx. 135 kms / 4 hour drive)

Morning after breakfast, we head to Eravikulam National Park situated in the high ranges of Southern Western Ghats and the 1st national park in the Indian state of Kerala. The park is home to the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr and it is popular for its beautiful rolling grasslands and Sholas. Anamudi (2695m) is the highest peak in the Western Ghats in India and located in the southern region of Eravikulam National Park.

After sightseeing you will drive to Cochin. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Day 10: Cochin Sightseeing

After breakfast, we proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kochi.

We start with Mattancherry Palace also known as the Dutch Palace. Also visit, Jewish Synagogue, oldest synagogue in all the Commonwealth of Nations and was built by Malabar Yehudan People, or Cochin Jewish community. Then we visit St. Francis Church, it is the oldest European church in India and was built in the beginning of 16th century. Later visit the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Kochi.

Day 11: Cochin Departure

Post breakfast, check-out & assisted departure transfer to Cochin International airport to board our flight to onward journey. (Breakfast)
