Short Description

Referred to as dev bhoomi or "Land of God", Himachal Pradesh is bordered by Jammu and Kashmir on the north, Punjab on the west, Uttar Pradesh on the south and Uttaranchal on the east. The word "Himachal" means the abode of snow. Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and the total area of the state is 55,673 square km. The state is covered with immense natural beauty and is, undoubtedly, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. A majority of the area is mountainous with lofty ranges, deep valleys, swaying waterfalls and lush greenery. 

Detailed Itinerary

 
Day 1: Delhi - Arrival Chandigarh – Shimla

Afternoon Arrival at Chandigarh Railway Station, upon arrival our representative will meet you at railway station, handover tour document to you. Later drive to Shimla Shimla, The `summer capital' of British India sprawls along a crescent-shaped ridge at an altitude of over 2100 m in southern Himachal Pradesh. This was the most important hill station in India before Independence. Shimla was once part of the Nepalese kingdom and called Shyamala (another name for goddess Kali). The British ‘discovered’ it in 1819. The famous main street, The Mall, still runs along the crest of the ridge and is lined with stately English-looking houses. Christ Church, Gorton Castle and the fortress-like former Viceroyal Lodge reinforce the English flavour.

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing

The `summer capital' of British India sprawls along a crescent-shaped ridge at an altitude of over 2100 m in southern Himachal Pradesh. This was the most important hill station in India before Independence. Shimla was once part of the Nepalese kingdom and called Shyamala (another name for goddess Kali). The British ‘discovered’ it in 1819. The famous main street, The Mall, still runs along the crest of the ridge and is lined with stately English-looking houses. Christ Church, Gorton Castle and the fortress-like former Viceroyal Lodge reinforce the English flavour. Morning after Breakfast we will leave to visit Shimla tour, including The Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Christ Church is situated on the Ridge is Christ Church, which is the second oldest church in Northern India. It has a very majestic appearance and inside there are stained glass windows which represent faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience and humility and then visit Kufri, Kufri is scenic spots nearby include the 67m high Chadwick Falls, the picnic spot of Prospect Hill, Kufri - KUFRI (16 km) :  At 2501m, this is famous for its wide views and ski slopes. An enjoyable walk leads up to the Mahasu Peak. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - The Mall & the Ridge.

Day 3: Shimla – Manali (249 Km - 07 Hrs)

Morning post breakfast at hotel, check out  and proceed to another hill station” Manali”  Manali is a magnet, attracting many tourists from all over the world The landscape here is breath taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas River with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards.
Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 4: Manali – Kullu Vally – Naggar – Manali

After breakfast at Hotel we will take day tour of your Kullu Vally and Naggar. Enroute to Kullu, we will halt at. Kullu which is around 25 km away from Manali. There are a number of attractions in Kullu like Visit some of these attractions and thereafter return to Manali And Naggar:- The Castle in Naggar is of a medieval structure and considered as a prominent tourist spot found nearby Manali. It was constructed in 1460 A.D. by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. The castle is of an architecture that is a blend of western and Himalayan style. NICHOLAS ROERICH ART GALLERY at Naggar : Prof. Late Nicholas Roerich, a reputed artist had chosen Naggar as his residence when he came to India in 1929. The house has now been converted in an art gallery which houses numbers of rare paintings and other specimen of art. The gallery is open for visitors. Activities for Children: Paragliding.

Day 5: Manali Sightseeing

Morning Post breakfast and proceed to  day excursion to Gulaba (Snow Point on the way to Rohtang) Rohtang is banned by The National Green Tribunal (NGT), so we can take you till Gulaba later visit Solang Valley. After sightseeing back to Manali and visit Manali local Sightseeing. We will Start our sightseeing of Manali including “Old Manali Market” Vashisht Market & Van Vihar is a municipal garden is situated in front of the Tibetan market on Mall Road. In the lake located within the park, tourists can opt for boating. The park is adorned with big deodar trees. Later we will visit Tibetan Monastery and “Vashisht Village” also boasts a pair of old stone temples, opposite each other above the main square. Dedicated to the local patron saint Vaishisht, the smaller of the two opens on to a partially covered courtyard, and is adorned with elaborate woodcarvings.  Evening time for shopping Please note in the Month of Oct you can’t see snow at Manali and Shimla.

Day 6: Manali – Chandigarh

Morning post breakfast check out form the hotel and drive to Chandigarh, upon arrival at Chandigarh check in at hotel and rest day at leisure. 63

Day 7: Chandigarh – Delhi (Train)

Early Morning breakfast at hotel and check out, later we visit Sukna Lake and rock Garden, later drive to railway station to catch the train to Delhi.
